People talk about how social realism films teach us about Britain. We learn from the characters experiences because the issues they are going through are applicable to everyday people in Britain. The grittiness of British social realism films the political and economic aspects of social realism. We included these aspects in our location and the theme of homelessness. In our own product we included character that are going through situations, which common people go through. This makes the film more relatable to the audience because the audience will have a personal connection.

The tutorial helped us as a group to understand some of the main aspects of using Final Cut Pro. The video included adding videos, adding text, adding titles, adding sound, color grading, speeding up and slowing down the video and changing the height and width of the product. All this helped us to ensure that our product was including these aspects. It also helped us to ensure that our final product looks professional.

The tutorial helped us to achieve a more professional looking product by adding the black bars. The tutorial shows us how to add the black bars to your video. The tutorial shows different techniques on how to add the black bars. The first technique is to go to effects and then add the widescreen and then choose the size of the bars. The second technique is to manually add the bars to your video. The third technique is to add slug media over your footage and then select the size of the bars.

We went away and watched the following documentaries by watching these different youtube documentaries as a group we learnt important aspects of social realism, editing aspects of Final Cut Pro, creating the widescreen (adding black bars) and filming without electricity. We picked up important technique which helped to us to achieve a professional looking product. The research helped us to learn new things meaning that we applied all these things to our footage.
