ERMES
DISTRIBUTION COMPANY
"HERMES"
We decided to create our own distribution company to include in our film opening. We decided to follow our theme of using a Greek God to name our production company and named the distribution company after Hermes, the God who acted as a messenger as we found that the purpose of a distribution company is similar.
THE LOGO
Kayleigh found that a Caduceus is a well known symbol for Hermes which could represent the first bar in the letter H. She Photoshopped an image of a Caduceus to follow the colour scheme of blue, white and grey.
PRODUCING OUR LOGO
1. We found this image of a Caduceus which we thought would look quite good and professional as the first bar in the letter H.
3. I then decided that using a gold sword would give the logo a nice change in colour to give a more unique feel to our distribution company in comparison to the production company.
2. The image was transparent so I filled it with the colour white to match our colour scheme and our production company logo.
OUR DISTRIBUTION COMPANY
As well as a production company, we also created a distribution company so that we would have an original identy in our
opening sequence. To create this we went through the same process and looked at Greek gods for inspiration. We
then once again used her Photoshop skills to create a unique logo and integrated it into the name of our company: "Hermes Distribution Company"
