When filming is quite important to test the camera before filming. If we don’t test the camera it could cause issues on the day of filming.  So, to ensure that we don’t have any camera issues I have tested the camera. I have run a few tests to ensure that we don’t have any issues. I had to guarantee that the lens is fully functional and will connected to the camera without any issue. White balance to ensure that the footage isn’t a different colour. There is an SD card ready and has enough storage to ensure that the SD card isn’t full when filming. I have also tested that the Camera can stand on a tripod to ensure that the camera isn’t unsteady.  The last thing I had to check was that the battery was charged fully to ensure that the camera doesn’t die during filming.

TESTING THE CAMERAS

We tested the camera, learnt how to set the equipment up and how to alter the settings on the camera so that it was suitable to use for filming. He was then able to share his knowledge with the rest of the group so that we were all aware of how to make efficient use of the DSLR Cameras.
