1) In this scene we had decided to use a close up shot to show the audience that the student is boarded as he is playing with his pen. The student is in detention which is a reason why he is boarded. The scene is set in a class room. The reason why we set it in a class room is due to the fact that most student have conversation in school. The student is played by a team member of team Apollo. The student was writing notes and was boarded when he was finished.

3) This a medium shot we decided to use this technique to show the audiences how the character looks like , also due to the fact that we only had showed his hand in the previous  scene. The scene is set in a classroom this show that the character is in a school and he is in detention. The classroom light was used as the natural light wasn’t enough.

5) This is a tracking shot, we had decided to do this to monitor the movement of the character. The character is about to leave the class room using the door. The scene is set in the class room but is going to change to him exiting the class room from the other side of the door view . The lighting is the same through the scene in the classroom. The sound that is in the scene is the door opening, the button being pressed to open the door and the character footstep.

7) In this scene we had decided to use the over the shoulder shot. The scene is set in the school corridor. The character has crossed her hand whiles talking to the other character showing that she isn’t happy. The character still has the same costume. You can hear the characters having a conversation. You can also hear teachers and student talking in the background.

2) In this scene we had decided to us a point of view shot.  We had shown the audiences how the character sees the time. We though that it’s important to show the characters view so the audience can related to character. The character is looking at the time to check when his detention is finishing. You can hear the clock ticking in the background.

4) This is the other character which is also a team member of the Apollo. The scene is set in the play area of the school.  We had used a medium shot in this scene to show the character and her costume.  She is wearing a black cardiant, black jumper, black trousers and is wearing a school ID. The sound that you can hear are the wind and kids talking in the background.

6) This scene is set in the corridor of a school. We used a dolly to track the footsteps and then moved the camera upward from their feet (this shot) to their faces, the two characterises shoes are shown and the camera will reach head level to show the other character. The two characters are in sixth form which allows them to wear dark smart shoes and dark trousers.  We are using the lighting of the corridor to shoot to scene.

8) This is extreme close up of the door handle, the characters will open the door to go to the class room where they are going to have their second conversation. You can hear the sound of the handle moving, the student talking in the background.

9) In this scene we have used 180 degree to show the conversation of the characters. The female character is leaving the scene and the male character is still stinting on his chair.  The characters had an argument and is known angry at each other. The sound you can hear is the character footstep. The scene is set in a classroom which as information on the wall.

NINE FRAME ANALYSIS OF PRELIMINARY TASK

We went through our preliminary task and screenshot nine frames that show a variety of camerawork and things that
we would possibly improve on later on when making our final piece or shots that would be worth considering including in
our final piece.
