SHOT LIST

After we discussed our different ideas, we concluded that the best idea was the story based on poverty and drugs.

We discussed the ways in which we could present the opening of our film and the content within it. We then produced

a shot list based on our group discussions. We then, as a group, went through the shot list and discussed what we could change and improve. Suraiya then used our group feedback to add detail to the shot list before we finalised it. We have chosen to show the end in the beginning so it starts off with Mickey being homeless. Once the title appears, the film essentially starts from the beginning of his story, where he's at home and it's a normal day. The scene is an average day in a family home to emphasise how he's gone from being a member of a loving family to someone who has no family. We took this style from the film Honeytrap which we analysed in our nine-frame analysis and found that the opening sequence was quite effective.
