POLLO PRODUCTIONS

The main protagonist (Aleena) would be a sixteen year old girl who starting her first year of college to do her A-Levels. She has moved, with her family, to a new area where she's a part of an ethnic minority. She and her family are Muslim (and she wears a Hijab) where as the people in her new area are generally Atheist. She has always worked really hard in school and been in the top of her classes, normally favoured by their teachers. Now that she's started her college, her teachers. who are generally white people, don't like her very much and neither do the students because she's different to all of them. Her parents are quite supportive and try their best to solve the issue with the college but nothing seems to make it easier for her. The on-site councillor, who's half asian and half white, tries to talk to her about it but Aleena's given up on school.
