HEAD ONS
We all came up with an idea each for what our social realism opening could be proceeded to develop on them. We created moodboards that contained iconography and words that we wanted to associate with our ideas. For the last two ideas we came up with plots as a group. For most of our plots we gained inspiration from recent affairs that have define our decade such as the EU referendum, London Riots, France bombings and the Refugee crisis. In the end we ended up choosing the first head on which explored poverty and drugs. Our concept was exploring how the London Riots changed many peoples lives and how the event triggered events in peoples lives such as becoming homeless, losing family and going into poverty. We decided to go with this head on as it would be easier to find cast and locations that would provide an effective opening. Furthermore, we all had an interest in exploring poverty.
